Hello all my artsy friends and welcome to April! Are you ready to get your journaling groove on? The Peers will be focusing on different journaling techniques this month on the blog, to inspire the hidden (or sometimes prolific) writers in all of us. I will be sharing a therapeutic hidden journaling technique, for those (like me) who don’t necessarily want to broadcast their journaling to the world. Ready to take on this artsy journaling adventure? Then come on in and join me . . .
Hello all my artsy friends and a special welcome to those font-a-holics out there (and I know there are quite a few of you)! We have an amazing month planned for you on the Scrapaneers blog, with lots of fun design, organization and creative ideas involving fonts. If you are not a font-a-holic now, you most certainly will be by the end of March. I am kicking things off with some fun ideas for using fonts to create layered alphas for your digital pages. Ready to jump on the font train? Then come on in and join me . . .
Welcome to February everyone! I am excited to kick off this month on the blog because the Peers are focusing on Hybrid projects. Many digital scrappers started off with traditional (or not-so-traditional) paper scrapbooking – I am definitely in this group. Although I have moved to almost 100% digital for memory-keeping pages, I still love to get my hands painty with mixed media art journaling types of projects. I am truly in my artistic happy place when I can combine digital and tangible art together into one amazing project. Today, I am going to take you on a journey through the process of creating a hybrid portrait using a digital photo sketch and traditional art supplies. Ready to get started? Then come on in and join me . . .
