Hi everyone! It’s Kat, one of the Scrapaneer Peers. Some of you may know me from a few digi sites – and now I’m thrilled to be here, too, to share some thoughts on the Keeping It Real class by Tiffany Tillman.
So, here’s the deal: I have more than 10 years of digital scrapping under my belt, but I’m always looking to learn new techniques (I’m a bit geeky like that, I’ll admit). I looked at the class information for Keeping It Real and thought to myself, “Paper tearing, curling …”, those would be pretty cool to add to my pages. I’m a big fan of making my pages as realistic as possible. I continue to improve my shadowing skills, but adding those more paper-like elements would just take things to the next level. Bonuses aside (like watching Tiffany work through her own layout, the downloadable PDF files to refer to whenever I wanted them, or the kit from Creashens), the class was free by signing up for the Scrapaneers newsletter. Pretty much a no-brainer – I signed up and jumped in!
