Designer Kelly Sill has been scrapbooking for over 20 years and has taught traditional and digital classes at local scrapbook stores in Virginia. She has embraced the Project Life way of documenting her photos and memories.
She’s worn many hats over the years, but first and foremost she is … a wife. A Marine Corps wife to be exact. It’s the toughest job in the Corps, but one that she has thoroughly enjoyed. She and her husband, Chris, have been married for almost 25 years, have lived in 4 different states, 3 different countries and are well-traveled throughout Europe.
…a mom of two boys. Dustin is 23 years old and a biologist in Virginia. Ryley is 20 years old and attending the University of South Florida. She is extremely proud of her boys and loved watching them grow into independent young men! Kelly also has two dogs, Baron, a lab mix and Zoe, a Yorkie.
…a graphic designer. It took her years to figure it out, but once her boys were at the end of middle school and beginning high school, it was time for her to go back to school herself! Kelly’s scrapbooking hobby led her to pursue a BFA in Graphic Design and in 2007, after going to school year round for three years, she got her degree!
Kelly was an instructor at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Chantilly, Virginia one year and designed several templates for The Crafter’s Workshop several years ago. Currently, she designs digital product under her brand, September Blue. She would describe her design style as being clean and modern, with an occasional touch of sarcasm. She is thrilled to be a Scrapaneer Guest Instructor! Fan her on Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest.
